Our guesthouse
is situated in an absolute altitude of 1.000m in the midst of the mountain Obersalzberg, offside the road. The location offers a magnificent view over the mountainside of Berchtesgaden (e.g. Watzmann, Hochkalter, Lattengebirge) as well as down into the valley of Schönau at the famous Kings Lake.
You can reach us by urban bus, car, the Obersalzberg cable car and of course within walking distance from Berchtesgaden 1,5h and Schönau / Kings Lake 1-1,5h.
From the car park at the Documentation Center Obersalzberg the Carl-von-Linde footpath, with only little altitude difference, leads you directly to our guesthouse in approximately 1h.
Our service
We offer a large choice of warm and cold meals and drinks, homemade cake, sundaes and of course the specialty of our guesthouse: The Giant Cream Puff several variations.
